Thunder for the Forgotten — “A Simple Truth” (Original Song)

A Simple Truth
It began as a line beneath an image — a spark in the dark: Equality isn’t erasing differences; it’s recognising their worth. The words would not let go. They wanted drums like hooves, guitars like weather, and a chorus you could shout with both fists in the air.
History is loud about its statues and quiet about its people. This song flips the balance. It’s carved for the voices left outside the record: the names sanded off, the stories filed away. Thunder for the forgotten. Fire for the dimmed. A simple truth — sung until it’s heard.

Origins
This track started with a question under an artwork post tagged #OneHumanity • #EqualityWithoutDistinction • #Philosophy: What if this became a song? From there, I shaped a metal-anthem structure around the idea that difference is not a flaw to be filed down, but a strength to be voiced.
The lyrics were written first — chantable, declarative, built for a crowd to carry. Then the music found its gait: a gallop at 188 BPM, riffs that swing like a gate in the wind, and a chorus that lands like weather on stone.
Making the Track
I drafted the musical bed in Suno to match the thunder in the words, then refined the arrangement for clarity and weight. Captions were authored in DaVinci Resolve so the story lives on the page as well as in the air.
Thunder for the forgotten. Fire for the dimmed.
Lyrics
Through the halls of broken stone, where shadows guard the past,
The names of countless voices fade, their silence built to last.
Kings inscribed their victories, but left the others blind,
Yet truth still burns beneath the dust, a fire they could not hide.
Hear it calling, across the years,
A song of worth that still appears…
Equality isn’t erasing the flame,
It’s raising the voices forgotten by name.
A simple truth, though the ages conceal,
We ride on the thunder — the world will hear!
the world will hear!
Galloping like iron hooves, the future meets the past,
Every chain that silence forged is breaking free at last.
The banners torn by storm and fire, the statues start to fall,
But difference is the strength we wield, the greatest truth of all.
Stand together, the night is long,
But difference makes the legion strong…
Equality isn’t erasing the flame,
It’s raising the voices forgotten by name.
A simple truth, though the ages conceal,
We ride on the thunder — the world will hear!
We ride on the thunder — the world will hear!
will hear!
Whispers in silence… turning to cries…
The worth of our difference — never denied.
One by one, the voices rise!
Equality isn’t erasing the flame,
It’s seeing the power in difference again.
A simple truth — that history betrayed,
Now louder we sing, it will never decay!
A simple truth… a simple truth… we rise again…
